We are looking for a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to take full ownership of our operational engine and lead execution across the business. This role is critical to scaling our e-commerce operations and directly impacts revenue, efficiency, and long-term growth.
You will step in as a key partner to the CEO, taking over day-to-day operations and enabling leadership to focus on strategic initiatives. This is a high-impact position requiring strong leadership, structured thinking, and deep operational expertise in e-commerce.
What You’ll Own & Build
In this role, you’ll be trusted with real responsibility from day one. Your success will be measured in your first 90 days based on the following tasks:
Take full ownership of end-to-end operations across: Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, IT
Lead and develop a high-performing executive team, ensuring alignment and accountability across functions
Establish and maintain a strong operating cadence (weekly, monthly, quarterly rhythms)
Drive cross-functional collaboration, breaking down silos and aligning teams on shared KPIs
Own resource allocation and prioritization, balancing growth, profitability, and long-term investments
Translate company strategy into clear execution plans and measurable outcomes
Partner closely with the CEO on business performance, decision-making, and strategic direction
Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable systems, processes, and structures
Lead performance management, including coaching, development, and when necessary, restructuring
What We’re Looking For
We’re excited to work with someone who:
Has proven experience in operations leadership within e-commerce. Ideally previously served as a COO or senior operations leader.
Experience in a company larger or more complex than ours, bringing forward-looking operational insight
Strong understanding of scaling e-commerce businesses, including operational challenges at different growth stages
Extremely structured and highly organized
Song leadership presence with excellent people skills
High ownership mindset and results-driven
Comfortable making tough decisions and driving accountability
Motivated by building systems, teams, and scalable operations
You can report to our office at Nieuwegein every Monday and work remotely the rest of the week from 9AM - 5PM CET
You are a native Dutch speaker
