Reports to: GTE Brands Supply Chain Manager
Why This Role?

About GTE Brands
GTE Brands is a growing cross-border e-commerce company scaling its operations to 3,000+ products per day across multiple channels.
We are looking for an experienced On-Site Warehouse Manager to oversee GTE's warehouse operations at our partner warehouse in Foshan.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands high-volume e-commerce fulfillment and can translate warehouse processes and SOPs into consistent day-to-day execution.
Your Role
You will work closely with the partner warehouse team to ensure GTE's standards are followed across the fulfillment process, from receiving and put-away to picking, packing, and pre-shipment quality control.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Receiving & put-away standards: enforce GTE's inbound SOP on the floor — count check, damage check, label verification, photo documentation of exceptions, and proper put-away location. Reject or quarantine what doesn't meet spec; document every exception with evidence.
Picking, packing & presentation: ensure every outbound order is picked accurately, packed to GTE's standard (correct mailer, filler, sealing, label placement), and presented in a way that lifts the unboxing experience. Spot-check packed orders daily.
Damage-rate reduction: own the damage rate KPI end-to-end — identify root causes (supplier packaging, internal handling, courier handoff), drive corrective actions, and verify the trend.
Consumables (non-inventory) management: maintain on-site consumables inventory (mailers, fillers, tape, labels, dunnage, branded inserts); run weekly cycle counts; reorder before stockout; eliminate waste and pilferage; keep presentation brand-consistent.
Pre-packing QC gate: operate or supervise the final QC station before packing; define pass/fail criteria with the product/QC team; ensure defective, mis-specified, or visually subpar products never reach the packing station.
Training & onboarding: partner with Potato's warehouse leads to train new and existing associates on GTE's SOPs, brand standards, and quality bar; maintain a written training checklist per role.
Scheduling & shift coverage: work with Potato's warehouse management to plan shifts and headcount; ensure coverage during peak and adequate rest during normal weeks; flag staffing risks early.
Performance management: establish clear per-shift KPIs (orders packed per hour, damage rate, QC pass rate); run regular performance reviews; surface under-performers to Potato's leads; support up-or-out decisions with evidence.
Cross-team coordination: partner with Sourcing (inbound quality and supplier issues), Product Ops (exception cases that originate from the warehouse), and Cross-Border Ops (returns and claims) so the warehouse has clear upstream and downstream accountability.
Metrics & reporting: maintain a weekly warehouse dashboard (damage rate, on-time ship rate, consumables burn rate, productivity per shift, QC pass rate); flag risks to GTE leadership proactively.
What We're Looking For
Must Have
5+ years in e-commerce warehouse operations (3PL, dropshipping, or marketplace), with hands-on experience receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping at 1,000+ orders/day
Demonstrated experience writing and enforcing warehouse SOPs that floor staff actually follow
Hands-on experience with non-inventory consumables management (mailers, fillers, tape, labels, dunnage) at scale
Experience working with or managing an embedded/contract warehouse team (training, scheduling, performance management)
Strong data literacy: comfortable in Excel/Google Sheets; able to build warehouse KPI dashboards (damage rate, on-time ship rate, productivity per shift)
Working English (written and spoken); Mandarin Chinese required for daily warehouse-floor coordination
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Nice to Have
Experience with:
Prior experience at a high-volume cross-border 3PL or e-commerce warehouse (TikTok Shop, Temu, SHEIN, AliExpress, Amazon FBA warehouse, or comparable)
Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) implementation, optimization, or migration
Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or equivalent quality management background
Experience optimizing consumables cost without sacrificing presentation
Bilingual or near-bilingual English/Chinese
Important Before Applying
This role is best suited to candidates who have genuinely managed high-volume e-commerce warehouse operations, rather than candidates whose experience is limited to general warehousing, logistics coordination, inventory administration, or office-based supply-chain work.
If you have hands-on experience managing a 1,000+ orders/day e-commerce warehouse and are comfortable working directly with warehouse teams on the floor, we'd like to hear from you.
Apply now and tell us about the scale of warehouse operations you have managed.
